Labels on all Items
PLEASE label all your student's items (ex: coat, cardigan, school bag, indoor shoes, water bottle, etc.) with their first and last name. If a name is on the item, we are able to return it to your student. Items without names are placed into our Lost and Found. Emails are sent to families prior to donating all items in the Lost and Found.
Lost & Found
We have many items in our Lost & Found bins (see image on right). Please ask your student to check the bins for their items. Unclaimed items are donated throughout the year.
Cellular Phones
Cellular phones are to be kept in a student's school bag and should not come out of their school bag during the school day. If you need to connect with your student, please call the office. At our grade levels, students are not yet taught how to use their device for learning purposes. At our grade levels, students are using CBE issued devices to learn to access information that has been verified by teachers as being appropriate and useful for learning. If a student has a medical concern which requires the use of a cellular phone, please call the office to book an appointment with someone from the administrative team. The school is not responsible for cellular phones that are damaged or stolen while at school.
Bicycles, Scooters, Skateboards & Heelys
We certainly encourage active living practices with children such as riding a bicycle to school. Upon arrival at the school and for the safety of all students, cyclists are expected to walk bicycles on school grounds during school hours. When bicycles are brought to school they should be locked in the bicycle rack provided.
The school cannot be responsible for bicycles damaged or stolen while they are at school. In addition, safety regulations require that skateboards, roller blades and Heelys are not to be brought to school or used on school property.
