Universal Children’s Day – Nov 20
Wednesday, November 20, 2024 is Universal Children's Day. On this day we encourage all students and staff to wear clothing that represents their culture. Students come to school with pride ready to share their cultural clothing with their classmates. If a student is not participating, they are to wear the school uniform.

School Council Meetings are a way that parents can get involved in and learn about what is occurring at the school. The first and last meeting of the year are held in person, all remaining meetings will be on Microsoft Teams

McCarthy's Uniforms
The next Purchasing Window will open on December 18, 2024, and run until January 31, 2025.
If a student wears a skirt or the dress, please ensure that the bottom of the skirt or dress is at least finger tip in length.
Book Fair
An in-person Scholastic Book Fair will be held during the week of November 25-29 in conjunction with the week of Parent-Teacher conferences. Volunteers are essential to having the book fair run smoothly. There are NO online book fairs offered as of last year.
Parent help will be needed at the class previews on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, sales on Thursday evening from 4:15- 8:15 pm & Friday morning from 8:45-noon, as well as with setting up and packing up on the Monday and Friday of that week. In order to volunteer, you must have a valid police check on file.
Suggested shifts are as follows. There will be 2 volunteers needed per shift. (Thursday evening and Friday morning have been particularly difficult to get help in the past, so any helpers for those shifts would be especially appreciated). Partial shifts are possible if you are unable to do a whole one, in which case I may need more than 2 people to cover the whole shift as it will be split.
