Lockdown
Today we had our first lockdown, things went very well!
As families, it is important for you to know that if you arrive to the school and the bell is ringing continuously, this means that people are not to approach the school. Families should not be coming to the door to bring a student into the school who is arriving after the school day has started. When the bell is ringing continuously, office staff will not be answering the phones nor the door.
Kindergarten 2026-2027
At this time, Colonel Sanders School has made the decision to have a rotating full day Kindergarten program for the 2026-2027 school year.
This means that Kindergarten children will either attend on Mondays, Wednesdays and specific Fridays or Tuesdays, Thursdays and specific Fridays.
Please ensure that when you are completing the Kindergarten Registration forms you state your preference for either the Monday/Wednesday or Tuesday/Thursday program, both of which will contain specific Fridays.
If admitted into Colonel Sanders through the lottery process we will discuss the full day program with you.
The full day Kindergarten program may change, thus please be prepared if a change does occur for the 2026-2027 school year to a traditional format of morning or afternoon Kindergarten.
We are all looking forward to this special week with our students!
