Transportation (Yellow Bus)
If you registered for busing, you should have already received transportation information regarding your student's bus letter, stop location, pick up and drop off times. Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to your stop and wait with your student (do not leave them unattended). At the end of the day, please also arrive about 5 minutes early and wait for the bus to arrive. At the end of the day, the bus does not need to wait for an adult to pick up the student from the bus; students in grade 1 and up are let off at their bus stop if an adult is not there to get them. If you have not yet received information, please access your MyCBE account and click on transportation. All information can be found there, including the information below regarding the bus applications.
First Student - Bus App – Bus A-E
Please download the FirstView 1.0 application for First Student Transportation and sign up for an account using the prompts provided. Our district code is O7A9Z. You will then add your student’s name, followed by selecting the appropriate bus route (this is the four digit code) for mornings, after school and Fridays.
You will now be able to track your student's bus to and from school.

Southland North – Bus App – Bus F
Please download the MyBusStop application and sign up for an account using the prompts provided. Our district code is CBE9AI0URZ. Since we long have one bus that is on Southland there is a prompt to add the bus F route for mornings, after schools, and Fridays.
Drop Off and Pick Up - Car
Parents please do not park on Northmount Drive on the side that is closest to the school, this is the bus zone. We need to keep this area clear before and after school for our yellow school buses. There is also a city bus that stops on Northmount Drive. Great places to park your car to walk students to their grade level door are on Terry Road and Thornhill Drive, there are breaks in the fence that enable your student to walk safely to their grade level door without walking across a street.

Important Information Regarding Attendance for TLC Students
TLC students are to attend school regularly. Missing more than 10% (18+ days) of the school year is considered significant. The reasons for the absence do not matter. A student who is not in school is not learning. Any time a student is not in school they are considered absent, these absences are calculated into a student's data pull when analyzing data. If needed, an Attendance Improvement Plan will be implemented.
Missing school at the end of the school year (June) and the beginning of the school year (September and/or October) has impact to the school's funding. As an Alternative Program after a discussion with parents, your student may be unenrolled at the Alternative Program (program of choice) to allow for another student from the waitlist to be added to the schools roster, thus receiving funding for all students.
Student funding is primarily used to purchase human resources to support all students at the school. These human resources include but are not limited to the following positions: Teachers, Interventionist, Education Assistants, English as an Additional Language Assistants, and/or School Assistants. All of these positions provide support to students within the school.
