Spring Concert - March 12 - Important Information
Grade 1 and 3 Families!
The Spring Concert will be held on Tuesday, March 12.
The afternoon concert will begin at 2:00pm. We will have approximately 180 chairs available for parents. Our Grade 2 and Grade 4 students will be sitting on chairs closest to the performers, parents are invited to sit on chairs that are in the back half of the gym. There will not be tickets for the afternoon performance.
The evening performance will begin at 6:15pm. Grade 1 and Grade 3 students need to arrive at the school for 5:45pm to ensure a prompt 6:15pm start time. Family members must stay in line to present their tickets, students may enter the building and go to the classroom that they will be in for the evening. The doors will close at 6:10pm to ensure that students are in their assigned class and audience members are seated.
Each family has received 2 tickets for the evening performance (ex: if you have 1 student in grade 1 or 3 you will receive 2 tickets, if you have 2 or more students in grade 1 or 3 you will receive 2 tickets). Babies, who sit on an adult's lap, can enter the gym without a ticket. Students must come to the evening performance with a responsible adult who will remain in the building until the performance is complete. Students cannot be dropped off and picked up.
Tickets have been sent home in the agenda, please keep the tickets safe. Tickets will not be re-issued. You must present the physical ticket to enter the gym. Photographs of tickets will not be accepted, nor will a phone call to a spouse to confirm that the tickets were left at home.
Families, please ensure that you can stay for the entire performance (afternoon or evening). We want to show respect to the performers by staying for the entire performance.
If a Grade 1 or Grade 3 student needs to leave early on the afternoon of March 12, they are welcome to leave either before the performance begins or once the performance has ended (not during). If a student cannot stay for the entire evening performance, it is best that they do not attend.
We are looking forward to the Spring Concert!
